045: Fire Jenga

Today was St. Patrick's day. Of course I spent most of the day at work. So as soon as I could get out I did. Of course we just went to stefs and drank beers but it was great. Then a fire seemed like a great idea followed by the boys game of "fire jenga". Perfect.

044: I can taste Summer

Finally CT spring/summer is on their way!!! Today I was able to find enough cash to get an ice coffee. The taste of this reminds me of last late spring/summer. Such a good time and the slight hint of vanilla and sweetness makes me smile. Drinking it while walking in my flip flops to work made it almost bearable that I had to be at work again, almost.

043: Finally home

Yes I didn't take this because it is from an app. But finally getting home was such a crazy day that I didn't have a second to sleep or eat, or drink anything. Flying out at 1 am from Denver, taking off and hour and half late, waiting 45 mins for bags, running to the air train, to catching 2 subways, to grand central to just making the train to New Haven by 4 minutes to a car ride home. You can guess I was tired. Being awake for 29 hours, not eating for over 30 will make someone crazy. After that whole day I slept and i guess had one of the best nights of sleep in a very long time. Thank you sleep cycle!

042: I'm very mature

Life is to short to be serious all the time. I take somethings very seriously but I am always trying to find a way to laugh. It is the best way to relieve stress and relax. Driving thru Denver this Sunday looking for apartments seeing as many Apple stores as possible was crazy. While making a U-turn down one road I saw this sign. Look closely at the street name. No one said you have act you age at all. Best quote of the day, "Nothing says looking for our first place like you drinking a juice box". Maturity is overrated if you ask me.

041: A birds eye view

The flight into Denver was amazing. The sky was clear pretty much the whole way. Just randomly opening the shades on the plane and looking down and seeing mountains as far as one could look was amazing. Sometimes nature just really amazes me.

040: How was your first time with crabs?

Yes I did two pictures but that is only because this was such a great day. This was the second day in Seattle and I had just one requirement for going here, to get crab legs. I never liked seafood, but then I worked at Red Lobster for about a year and just decided to give it another try and now love it. So for the nice dinner that night to celebrate a year we went to the Crab Pot. If you have seen man vs. food Seattle it is this amazing place where they just pour a whole bowl of food at your table and you beat it with a mallet. It was so delicious and amazing. I could not have been happier to be where I was when I was with who I was. I normally don't get mushy or talk about my life but it was amazing. I haven't been this happy in many years. I finally feel who I was so long ago and being this happy and carefree is something that I will not give out without a fight.

039: A day in the life

This is where it gets hard to pick just one picture. This was the first day in Seattle. I have been there before but he hadn't so we had to go to all things that you must see when you are there, the Space Needle, Pikes Places, the first Starbucks ect. But the best part of the day was when I was walking by a t-shirt shop and so this, a GIANT stuffed penguin. I ran right in and have at least 10 pictures of it and me with it. I loved them all but this was makes me laugh because it looks like he is pondering something. Fabulous!
